Coupon Policy

To Our Valued Customers: DDM gladly accepts the following coupon types as detailed in the coupon acceptance guidelines listed below:

COUPON TYPES:

Manufacturer Coupons

• Manufacturer coupons are found in newspapers, magazines and even affixed to products.

• Digital Manufacturer coupons (eSavings) are found on-line and can be electronically clipped to your Discount Drug Mart Courtesy Plus Card. Currently you can clip Digital Manufacturer Coupons from the following websites:
  • discount-drugmart.com/esavings
  • www.pgeveryday.com

• Discount Drug Mart manufacturer coupons generally appear in our weekly circular or at www.discount-drugmart.com

• Discount Drug Mart store coupons are labeled “Store Coupon”, have the Drug Mart logo and appear in our weekly ads, special promotions in our stores or at www.discount-drugmart.com

• We reserve the right to refuse any coupons that we believe to be photo copied, counterfeit or invalid for any other reason.
• We accept internet coupons in black & white or color.
• No “FREE” coupons will be accepted.

• Only coupons which state “redeemable at Discount Drug Mart” will be accepted.

• Discount Drug Mart accepts Buy One, Get One Free coupons, however only one coupon can be used for each pair of items purchased.
• A customer can use one “cents off” coupon in conjunction with the item they are purchasing on a Buy One Get One Free promotion (or with a Buy One Get One Free coupon), although the value of the cents off coupon cannot exceed the selling price of the item.
• Buy One Get One Free coupons can be used in conjunction with a Buy One Get One Free promotion.

ACCEPTANCE GUIDELINES:

General Guidelines:

• The original coupon must be presented at the time of purchase. Photo copies will not be accepted.
• Coupons must have valid remit address and expiration date.
• Register will validate coupon through scanning of the coupon UPC number.
• Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Products must be purchased in sizes specified on the coupon.
• Items must be purchased at the time of the redemption.
• Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is allowed.
• When making a return for a product that had a coupon attached Discount Drug Mart cannot refund cash for the value of the coupon and cannot return the coupon that was used.
• Discount Drug Mart may accept up to (10) identical coupons for the same number of qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers. This is within the store manager’s sole discretion.
• Discount Drug Mart reserves the right to not accept any coupon where the validity of the coupon is in question.
• The system will prompt for management verification for:
  • A coupon of $20 or greater on one item.
  • $50 or more in coupons in one transaction.

• When purchasing a single item, Discount Drug Mart accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Discount Drug Mart Store Coupon
• More than one manufacturer coupon can be used on the purchase of a single item under the following conditions:
  • A digital manufacturer coupon (eSavings) is not used.
  • No more than one manufacturer coupon, one on-pack coupon and one store coupon can be used on a single item.
  • All coupons match the item being purchased.
  • The total of the coupons is equal to or less than the selling price of the item before sales tax.
  • We do not accept double or triple value coupons.
  • SNAP or WIC items purchased in a transaction are ineligible to receive cash back due to the coupons.
